Rye Park Manor: In the Heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake
Our bed and breakfast is located in beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake (NOTL), a town in Southern Ontario on the border of the United States, near upstate New York, where the Niagara River flows into Lake Ontario.
The town dates back to the 1700s and features historic sites and plaques including the Fort George National Historic Site. Over time, the town has become a popular tourist destination known especially for the Shaw Theatre Festival and the many wineries found in and around the town. Niagara-on-the-Lake boasts ample activities including golf, hiking, bike tours, historical walking tours, horse and carriage rides, spas, markets and shopping, as well as year-round events and festivals covering everything from music, art, theatre, food, wine and more. There is something for everyone in NOTL.
Summer weather ranges from warm to hot peaking in July with average highs around 27°C / 81°F. Shoulder season is also quite comfortable with average highs around 14°C / 57°F in April and October while winter highs drop down to around 0°C / 32°F.
